Here are pictures of our first collaboration of the school year with our new 10-A buddies. In anticipation of the first day of fall tomorrow, the children in 6A went on a walk yesterday to collect all shapes and kinds of leaves to create leaf pictures of animals and people today with their new 10A friends. We read and looked at pictures from the books, Look What I Did with a Leaf and Leaf Man for inspiration and enjoyed some leaf shaped cookies and apple cider as a snack. Our pictures are now hanging proudly above the 6A lockers in the school hallway. We hope you'll stop by to admire our creative efforts!
