Dear 6A Parents,
Here are lots of photos taken during these past two weeks of school including our "Wild Things" pictures which we made with our friends in Calvert's 5th grade, photos from the geography play, photos of Mr. Somers' visit to talk about his bee keeping, and photos from the 6th age singing at the alumi luncheon. Hope you enjoy them!

Earth day and our speaker from Nigeria

Dear 6A Parents,        Here are some pictures from our 6th age earth day. We enjoyed listening to Ms. Heller (Inglesby) and Mrs. Giese read "The Lorax" to all the 6th age classes first. Afterwards, we went back to our  classroom and made "earth cookies" complete with chocolate dirt and gummy worms and with help from two of our friends in the 8th grade, Dema and Micah. An activity booklet was also provided for each child to do.
The following day, Jasmine's "Uncle Peter" from Nigeria came in to talk with all of the 6th age about his country. Please enjoy the photos of the costumes, instruments, and singing and dancing that he taught the children. Needless to say, everyone was enthralled!
                                                                            Sincerely,

                                                                            Louise Catlin
